20 Chicken Nugget Challenge
It has been a while since my family did a foodie comparison science project. I think the last time we did this was to find which we liked better: KFC, Popeye’s, or Church’s Chicken. It was so long ago that I don’t even remember the results. I guess we’re going to have a rematch.
Last night we compared the new Jack in the Box chicken nuggets to McDonald’s chicken nuggets and were really surprised by the results. We also compared the BBQ and Sweet & Sour sauces.
Here are the results:
Jack in the Box took a clear lead in the nugget category with a 13 point lead. The same went for the BBQ sauce challenge where Jack in the Box paved the way with 33 points out of a total possible of 40. However in the Sweet & Sour challenge, McDonald’s dominated with a high score of 36 points.
Here are a couple of comments:
“The sweet and sour from Jack in the Box tasted more like an orange sauce.”
“The Jack in the Box nuggets are smaller than McDonald’s.”
“McDonald’s nuggets used to be better or I’m getting older.”
