Summary

Project Management: Manages successful projects with a clear understanding of objectives, strategies, budgets, resources, deadlines, milestones, implementation and follow ups. Lead HIPAA task force for the Department of Medicine, UCSF. Managed migration of data from NT to Microsoft Server 2000.

System Administration: Responsible for several critical and non-critical systems ranging from NT 4.0¬2003, Linux RedHat, and Mac OS X servers including backups and restoration. Able to project budgets for the complete life cycle of systems. Familiar with binding Mac OS X servers to Active Directory services.

Universities: Develops strategies of IT Solutions for academic departments and institutions. Compiles resources including budget planning, hardware, software, backups, and implementation. Able to effectively collaborate with multiple IT groups in decentralized environments on projects.

BioTech: Setup Unix/Linux cluster for Bioinformatics. Served as DBA for Bioinformatics MySQL database. Successful Mac to PC transition for Cell Biology, Vector Biology, Assay Development and Chemistry groups.
