What Really Happened
I was holding my breath in anticipation of this event. I guess I should have relaxed a little. Maybe it’s me and because I’ve been watching Battle Bots reruns over the past couple of weeks but this was a complete waste of 26 minutes of my life. Here, I was expecting some kind of Gundam style of fighting and what I got was something more of two senior citizens battling it out on their electric wheelchair. Well, whatever the case. I was slightly disappointed especially after the first round where the robot from Japan just pushed over the robot from the USA. I was hearing commentary from other news sources saying that, yes, of course the USA won. It was more of a battle of who could talk more trash than actual robot fighting. ‘m sure that one of these days we’ll have a faster looking battle with Battle Bot type of robots that weigh in at 12 tons. I guess one can only dream.
For now, I’ll just to back to watching reruns of Battle Bots.
