I recently took a course on Lean Fundamentals. Per Wikipedia, Lean thinking is a business methodology that aims to provide a new way to think about how to organize human activities to deliver more benefits to society and value to individuals while eliminating waste.
From my perspective and the PMP Book of Knowledge that has been drilled into my daily processes, the Lean way…is much easier to follow and implement in an organization. Yes, it took me at least 3 months to figure it out. Overall, I believe it follows the same PMP fundamentals but stresses on increasing value, reducing waste, and respecting people.

Part of my training was learning more about how to look at a process and find out if there are any problems with it and how to fix it.
This is my first post of the year…mainly because I’m tired…to tired to explain what each of the fields mean. I hope to revisit this to give a better explanation but for now, here’s an awesome PDF template for you to use in your Lean voyage.
I call it A3 Pizza because before I saw this template, I used my pizza boxes to do this exact same thing.
