Smoked Rosemary Garlic Pork Loin

Experimenting with more pork loin recipes. Here’s a quick simple recipe that brings in a lot of rosemary flavor to the pork. Prep took about 15 minutes. Cook time was about 45 minutes.

Why do I tie the rosemary? I tie the rosemary because people don’t like to eat the rosemary leaves but they love the smell and taste. Tying it makes it easy to remove.

Ingredients

Pork Loin – it’s about 2-3 pounds

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

5 sprigs of rosemary

Method

Take out the pork loin and cover it in olive oil.

Then rub in the garlic powder, salt, pepper.

Tie the rosemary to the loin using butcher twine.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Start the grill and set to 375 ?F.

Place loin in the grill and close the lid and cook for 45 minutes.

Check the temp. You want to make sure it is at least 145?F.

If it is, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes under a foil tent.

Slice and serve.
