Shopping for specific ingredients for cocktails can be challenging. Summer is a great time and unfortunately, we are in severe heat conditions mixed in with smoke and ash from fires with a touch of COVID. It was already difficult to find ingredients with shelter in place and now the extreme heat and smoke are causing another panic for grocery shopping.
Here’s a cocktail drink that’s fun and easy to make.
Ingredients
Watermelon
Bottle of sake
Method
Cut out a hole less than the side of the opening of the sake bottle.
Unscrew the sake bottle.
Screw the sake bottle to the watermelon and put in fridge.
Wait a few days for the watermelon to soak up all the sake.
Cut a bigger hole in the watermelon and mash things up.
Serve cold.
If you want to decant this into a glass, you can do so with ease. Just be sure to add plenty of ice so it keeps that slushy consistency. You can make your own ice shapes by purchasing products from Dramson.
Tips
Serve with a yogurt drink.
