Mochiko chicken is almost like karaage chicken but more Hawaiian style. Mochiko chicken’s start is mainly rice flour. Here’s a recipe for mochiko chicken.
Ingredients
Chicken (about 5 chicken breasts) cut into bite-sized portions
1 cup rice flour
1 /4 cup corn starch
1 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup chopped green onion
1 teaspoon ginger powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
3 eggs
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons minced garlic
Method
Combine everything.
Mix well.
Put in refrigerator overnight.
Deep fry pieces for about 3 minutes.
Serve crispy.
