COVID White Elephant

The COVID pandemic has changed the way we celebrated holidays in 2020. Christmas traditions of White Elephant gift exchanges were completely thrown out the window.

Well, more like we had to change things to follow social distancing orders and human contact to help prevent the spread.

In order to try to have a White Elephant gift exchange this year, we changed it up a little. We placed all the gifts on a table and labeled them. Then also assigned numbers randomly.

Then a guest will pick a letter and 1 person will open the gift and display it for everyone to see. That was the change. The only down side is that the guest cannot pick up the box to check the weight.

How were your traditions changed?
