Grilled Duck Breast

Part of this year’s summer grilled included duck breast. Please ignore the tomahawk steak in the background. I’ll talk more about that in another post.

Grilled duck breasts are an easy dish to prepare. In fact, I don’t think I prepared the meat other than added some salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Really quick, get some duck breasts. Gently slice the skin…not too much, just lightly glide the knife on top of the skin making a crisscross pattern. This will help render the fat and will add extra crispiness.

After slicing a crisscross, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder…and your other favorite flavors.

Set your grill to 375 and grill skin side down first for 10 minutes. Turn it over and grill for another 8 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
