WARNING: This is the easiest smoked prime rib recipe you’ll ever see but requires you to have a smoker and an oven.
Ingredients

1 (8-10 lb) prime rib roast no bone

6 Tablespoon kosher salt

4 Tablespoon ground black pepper

3 Tablespoons thyme

3 Tablespoon rosemary
Method
Season the prime rib with all the ingredients and refrigerate overnight.
Remove the roast 1 hour before cooking.
Set your smoker to 250 degrees. When it reaches that temperature.
Place the roast into the smoker and smoke it for 2 hours.
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees.
After 2 hours of being in the smoker, remove it and place in a roasting pan.
Place roast in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 120 degrees.
