Loco Moco Meatloaf?

Egg yolks easily add flavor to dishes. I’m trying to figure out why I just started doing this. Adding a poached egg to a meatloaf plate.

Essentially, it’s a little bit like a loco moco but with a traditional American style tv dinner plate.

The addition of the egg completes the flavor profile to glue the meat with the mashed potatoes.

Try it out the next time you’re at your favorite diner. Order the meatloaf and a side of poached egg. You won’t be disappointed.
