With the fresh tomatoes coming out, we’ve run out of salads to make. So we’re going to make some spaghetti sauced. It’s relatively easy to make. Pretty much put everything into a pan and slowly simmer until the juices are reduced.

1 onion, chopped
½ teaspoon garlic powder
4 pounds fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon salt
