I purchased 2 LED ring lights but this review will only cover the 12″ ring. COVID has kept us at home longer than expected and now Zoom has taken over the work world for video conferencing.
With that said, many of us do not have the best webcam on our laptops. The solution has been to use your cell phone for the zoom meetings that require video.
With that, lighting in your home office isn’t the best. You might be in a sunny spot so the sun glare draws attention away from the main picture. I decided to spend a few bucks on getting a LED ring light. Ring lights are helpful because they “surround” the camera’s view with light; almost like a tunnel of light.
The images make me look like a makeup artist on YouTube but they come out pretty clear. You won’t regret it and will make everyone else sitting on their bed in a dark room wish they had your setup.
I’m testing it now with the built-in webcam to see how it goes. Will keep you posted.
